Services
Charlie T Locklear Vineyard & Winery is wholly owned and operated by Charlie T. Locklear, Charlie T. Locklear, Jr. and myself, Daryl W. Locklear. We are proud members of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolilna. The idea of owning and operating a commercial winery was nothing but a dream for my father, and it probably was not even thought of as an attainable dream 15 years ago.

The BlackBerry wine is great, however, sometimes I am afraid to open the bottle due to the cork popping out really fast, this is my fourth time buying. I thought it was just the bottle I chose when I first purchased but after buying four times and also reading the reviews I see I am not the only person who experiences this. The wine is great opening the bottle is a challenge.

It wasn't much of a tour because I visited during the off-season and it's a very small Vineyard. But I do plan to visit again after September to walk through the vineyard while the grapes are ripe and also maybe some water damage from the recent hurricane has dried up. The wine was absolutely delicious! I tasted everything except for their Strawberry Wine which I plan to order online as soon as it becomes available!

My wife and I were traveling, stayed a night in North Carolina and had the pleasure of visiting the Locklear Vineyard. The staff was very helpful with the wine selection considering my wife doesn't drink however she was able to find not one but two wines she likes. Plus we were able to start settle on wines for our wedding next year. We will definitely be going back. We just relocated to VA, and wished we could purchase the wine here, but until then looks like we'll be spending a lot of time at the winery.

This was fantastic! Bought a Groupon and went while out of town for work. Mr. Locklear is a wonderful man who has such a passion for what he does. The wines were fabulous, great prices, he is so charismatic. He took us on a tour and gave us details about his process, which I loved because I want to make my own wine. He answered all my questions and has a great sense of humor. We will for sure be back!!

Went to North Carolina for the night my wife saw a flyer for a wine tasting decided to go. The place was far back had to drive down a rode to get there but it was like an adventure the first thing we saw was the vineyard which was beautiful. We were greated by the owner of the establishment who was very nice. The wine tasting was amazing I love the wine even though I'm not a big wine drinker but the Carlos Sweet wine was my choice. $10 for a bottle was a really good price. We purchased 3 bottles. I would definitely stop by again the wine was amazing the place was beautiful the staff was very nice

Strictly unprofessional people. Had booked a wedding here two months in advance just to have it cancelled two weeks before the wedding, all because someone else offered more money. This winery is nothing but a joke. I recommend everyone who doesn't intend on having what's supposed to be a memorable day turn into disaster, to choose a better place than this sorry excuse of an establishment.
