Our roots in the rigging industry date back to 1870 in the quarries of Vermont. John P. Mullins, or "JP" as he was better known, was well known throughout the northeast for performing complicated rigging and hauling jobs using horses, gin poles, and wagons. His son, John M. Mullins, who worked alongside his father, proposed the idea of buying a flatbed truck to aid in their hauling work.
