One of our owners, Luke, attended Antigo High School where he was a part of the carpentry class that built a house as a part of this class. Luke and Becki started Schwanz Custom Homes in 2004. They have worked hard to keep up with advancements in the trades and in energy-efficient ways to build. Luke Schwanz has worked in residential and commercial construction since 1992.
In addition to being one of the owners of Schwanz Custom Homes, Luke is also our lead carpenter. You'll find him on the job site every day, executing each job with excellence and pride. Becki Schwanz handles much of our estimating, all of the bookkeeping, and specification and contract writing. She also works on the job site as needed.

We have been looking forward to retiring near Antigo, but bad experiences with a home renovation and pool repair in a different state made us wary of trying to get a house built, and we had put it off for several years. Finally we searched online and saw many positive reviews for Schwanz Custom Homes, so we decided to see how the process went. We were prepared to call it off if things didn’t seem right. We Interviewed several builders before selecting Schwanz Custom Builders for our new lake house. Becki is just wonderful, helped in modifying and customizing a floor plan. She's very detailed and organized and is great with open lines of communication. Luke and Elijah and their crew are super also, the house went up so fast. They are very dedicated under Luke's supervision. We can't say enough about how pleased we are with the progress being made! We feel very fortunate to have found them for our dream house!!

Schwanz Custom Homes LLC is currently building my home along with a 4000 sq ft detached garage. They are very responsive to any questions I have had and have been working on a timely schedule. They have been at my project for around 6 weeks and I believe have only pulled off for 1 or 2 days.

Fantastic builders! They built a large garage for us and I couldn't be more happy! Becki was detailed in each step and easy to trust with the process. Her quote literally was 5 times more detailed than others and transparent with all costs. The guys building were not only on time and professional, but quite good! They took pride with each step like it was their own home. Would work with again in a heartbeat.

As a first home owner, I feel very fortunate to have connected with the Schwanz for our first home building experience. They are customer centered, personable, prompt to respond (even on their vacation!), and flexible/patient with changes. We are so happy with the quality of work done thus far on our home and timeliness with everything.
