I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults and parents faced with challenging behaviors, transitions, trauma, or PTSD. I completed my undergraduate studies at Duke University, earning a B.A in Comparative Area studies with a focus on Latin America and Southeast Asia. Following college I traveled extensively in these areas, learning more about the people and the culture.
I then spent 15 years in the Bay Area where I worked in educational travel and ethical sourcing. In 2015, I completed my doctorate in psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology. During this time, my research focused on child abuse prevention. Following graduation, I moved to Bend, Oregon and joined Downtown Psychological Services as a psychologist.
