Owners Jonathan and Jessica's mission in creating Wash House laundromat was to create a different kind of laundromat. Services
With 28 eco friendly and ultra efficient front loading machines - washer capacities up to 75lbs that can wash and dry up to 8 loads at once-drastically cut down your overall laundry time. Choose multiple washers and dryers, or dump all of your laundry into one of Wash House's largest-capacity machines.
Your clothes will be sorted, washed, dried and returned folded (or hung) exactly how you like them. Our staff will sort your darks from lights, spot treat and wash in warm or cold. We use a hypo-allergenic, dye and scent free detergent. Want to use your own detergent, no problem! We can also service any of your delicate items or bulky comforters, duvet covers, pillows, sleeping bags or anything else you need.

I don’t know what happened to this business. I was thrilled when they moved in -
the best machines, cleanest environment and nicest ladies working there. Now half the regular washing machines are Out of Order, some are moldy and have rust. It’s always been much more expensive than a regular laundromat, but used to be worth it, now I’m not sure about that. I hope the fluff & fold ladies are getting extra hourly- it’s super convenient for me when I don’t have time, and they are very helpful, but I supply my own detergent and given the condition of the machines I’m not sure what I’m

I came to LA to visit a friend and stayed for a week. In order not to bring too much luggage, I decided that I want to do laundry at some point during my stay. I stayed at an AirBnB but laundry was not an option. So I had to look up a place that was clean that had credit card option just in case. This place said, “no need to carry quarters around, card payment system is available. Was staying in Silver Lake on holiday for ten days & the this place was excellent. Super cheap (4 bucks for big load of washing & drying, all completed in less than 45min), simple to navigate top up card process meaning no need for loads of coins, friendly staff, and a great sneaker cleaning service too. Added bonus of being round the corner from Mom’s Donuts...seriously some of the best donuts we have ever eaten!

I don’t see how people give it a 4.5 stars. Yes it’s clean flexible hours. Nice place inside. However, they people that own the place has also a washing service which every time you come to wash Saturday or Sundays they have piles upon piles of laundry they are doing for themselves also a couple “ out of order “ machines. They are also more pricey than most laundry mats around the area. But it’s really knowing that you can’t wash because they are taking over the washers, dryers, and tables themselves for their own business. Today u decided to go to a different one it’s pointless even

25 year resident of Silverlake...the machines in my building were down, so I tried this place...it's a shame, too, because they are right next door to my favorite liquor store (Mikron) and Mom's Chinese Food & Donuts, a Silverlake icon...
First off, this place is VERY EXPENSIVE: the machines here run $5 & $6 a wash..!! They do have a few very small washing machines for $2.50...
But what's a COMPLETE RIPOFF is the method of payment: instead of dollars or quarters like a normal laundromat, you have to buy a payment card for $1 & load money on the

The Wash House is a great new Laundromat on Silverlake Blvd. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the owners are often on site and again are super friendly. The machines are all brand new and very well maintained. My clothes come out smelling amazing every time, especially compared to other Laundromats. They are very community orientated too which is nice. You buy a card and top it up each time, which I find great so I don't have to carry pockets full of quarters. Free Wifi too. I highly recommend this place!

Love this new spot, new machines, eco-friendly products and wifi. I think a lot of the other mats have older machines that are actually NOT washing the clothes and maximizing the water, we need to be aware of this!
Good job on being so on top of it, highly recommend if you drive to your mat, this is worth it.
