Many are processed right here at our plant in Tipton, IA and sold to customers throughout the Midwest. Post Consumer HDPE bottles are sorted, ground, washed, dried, then extruded into a fractional melt pellet. Our repro-pellets are always of the highest quality, and every batch has the MFI and Material Source noted on the container.
Cedar Poly, LLC purchases hundreds of thousands of pounds of post consumer bottle bales and post industrial film scrap per month, of which all HDPE material is pulled from. All sorting, grinding, washing, densification and extrusion is done in house, allowing a lower cost to be passed on to our repro customers.
