From a young age, I have always had a passion for helping others. Through Yoga, I have a chance through my gifts to help people feel better from inside out. We are all wired different and I truly believe there is a type of Yoga for everyone senior, kids, restorative, power, meditation, yoga with weight, yoga w/ goats.
I am excited to share with you, my unique yoga experiences and education with the Great Lakes Bay Region! Kathryn is currently studying senior and chair yoga, where yoga really is for everyone. This gives the wonderful benefits of yoga for those who need gentle movements and/or from the comfort of their chair.

Yoga by Kathryn is my home away from home. Kathryn's radiant personality (energy) frequently brings a smile to my face and I always feel lighter after my yoga session.
I enjoyed my first session with Kathryn in the Fall of 2017 (Yoga @ the Saginaw Art Museum) and since then I have enjoyed several classes with her. The Yoga 101 Workshop she offers is awesome and I would highly recommend it!

Kathryn’s classes are diverse for all levels of yoga. I started attending her classes about 8 months ago with zero experience and I can’t tell you how much she has helped me with relaxation just from learning how to focus on breathing. My balance is better, my body is getting stronger, flexibility range is increasing and it’s great for your circulation, digestion, and more. She is patient, kind, has a nice flow through her classes and love her playlists!
I am now trying all of her classes and she is regularly hosting at different venues which makes it extra special and fun because your getting

I was so nervous to begin yoga. "I'm not flexible" was my frequent excuse. Kathryn quickly taught me that yoga really is for everyBODY and flexibility is not a prerequisite for yoga, it's a result. Kathryn is a welcoming and wonderful instructor. She explains postures so they are easy to understand and has a soothing voice for relaxation. She offers modifications for each pose, so that everyone is included and gets the most out of each session. Now, I can't live without Yoga with Kathryn!

I started doing yoga with Kathryn during her yoga in the park series and then continued with her after the cooler weather set in. I like all the different levels she teaches because you can do what feels right for you. I love that she walks around during class and makes sure you are getting the most from your practice. What I like best is that she always pays attention to what you need as an individual, if you have an injury or need special stretching; it is the personal part that she offers that make her classes outstanding!

Yoga by Kathryn is a great place to find your inner yogi! She is a one of a kind instructor that creates a welcoming/safe environment for those of all yoga levels and ages. I have been practicing yoga for many years/places/teachers and after being with her for the last 3 years she is one of the best. Check out a class by her and I think you will agree!
