Let me start by saying the nursing staff was wonderful abs attentive during our time in the ER!! I have used the ER a couple of times for my young children and the most recent will likely be the last especially if Dr Goodall is there! My daughter (6 months) had an ear infection a couple weeks prior. When I took her in to the ER at 2 am on a Monday morn it was due to her pulling at her ear and screaming/inconsolable. My daughter has never been a fussy baby unless she’s hurting. I explained all of this to Dr Goodall. He checked her ears and said they were fine and listened to her chest but she

If I could give negative stars I would!! What a horrible ER department. The staff has the worst bed side manner and should all look into a different career path. For they are lazy and rude and push serious health issue to the side and send you home like it’s just day to day normalcy. Dr. Alexander D. Pinc Is by far the worst doctor and the Dr. that was in charge of this negligence. I highly request you don’t go to this hospital ER Department if you really don’t have to, for you will probably not be treated properly especially if Dr. Pinc is the one on call.

Dr Goodall who seems to be there often is horribly rude. I took my teenage child there for a bad migraine and she was screaming in pain and vomiting while Dr. Goodall sat out with the nurses for over 45 minutes making jokes and talking about their home life. I asked the nurse several times if they could give her anything to ease the pain even a little bit and the answer was always no. Finally he came in nearly an hour later and gave her Benadryl and zofran and then agreed to run other tests when I demanded it. I truly think he belongs in a different area of work. You can definitely notice which

The absolute worse. Not only no privacy but I believe hippa is a big issue here as well as their inability to take patient care seriously. I have never in my life been treated so poorly over high blood pressure. Told it must be stress and they are not treating that in the ER even though I am two weeks post Covid, wheezing, dizzy, headache and 195/114 when I left my house and 188 when I got there. They stuck an IV in and made sure I had insurance. Told me they would take blood and do an X-ray to make sure everything else was ok. Ps I had Covid pneumonia as well as regular pneumonia just two weeks

Very attentive in the ER. I brought my son in for an eye injury and Dr Bybee, Gina and Tami were helpful and were able to remove the foreign object from his eye very quickly. No wait time.

I worked as an RN at a local nursing home. You could send a resident there with a broken hip also wheezing so loud you didnt need a stethascope. The nurse would call and ask, Why did you send him here? He's not in pain and his lung sounds are clear!!!! They brought him back moaning in pain on the gurnee. He died the next day!!! Several more examples like this. Thank God they are opening a new hospital in the area as state insurance allows transport to the closest hospital!!! BEWARE

First of all, I'd like to say that the staff is outstanding ; but due to poor policies and a horrid administrator, we left ...

If you can't talk to the administrator of the facility, without being hung up on, it's time to go elsewhere for healthcare !

I called simply to get an explanation of services regarding office visits, and I wasn't even able to be heard; instead I was hung up on while I was asking the questions ...

They take your money, they take your co-pay, they take your premiums, and apparently you're not supposed to be able to ask ANY questions of your

Sadly, we had been patients at Maquoketa Family Practice. We had a form that needed filled out and the doctor refused, saying my husband needed a physical. (Even though he had been in the office with an infection 3 times over the past two weeks.) The form was 2 yes or no questions, one about healthy enough to do job, and the other about any physical disabilities. My husband visited the clinic to talk to the administrator, who was unavailable.

The administrator eventually called him, discussed my visit with him, and then told him that the decision was made and that was the end of it. She didn

I’d personally never come here again. The nurse was okay. No privacy, considering whatever I was talking about I overheard the staff making jokes about it and laughing at me. Also, when my fiancé was asking questions because he couldn’t understand; the doctor was very loud and aggressive in his tone. Never again will I come here. Worst hospital I’ve ever been in.

Friendly staff, very clean, next to no wait time, but far from modern. An older hospital with very few updates. Have had both good and bad experiences with ER dept, but I think that has mostly to due with on-call doctor. Nursing staff is always the best I have dealt with. Wouldn't recommend for serious or life threatening situations but that is due to this hospital not being equipped to handle it.
