Hi, I'm Jori Zimmerman, Certified Master Nutrition Therapist and founder of Nutrition Savvy. I didn't start my career out being a nutritionist. For over 20 years I was a corporate sales person. I was doing the 50 plus hour weeks, traveling a ton and my health was paying for it. Sound familiar? We are all guilty of sacrificing our well-being for our careers.
In a world saturated with crazy health claims, questionable dietary advice, public misconceptions, and food myths, it's increasingly difficult to know what to eat and how best to nourish your body, create a healthy metabolism, and look, feel and function at your best. But I want to end that and make being healthy a simple, realistic and part of your lifestyle.

Jori was and continues to be a great support in my wellness journey. I used her nutrition counseling services a while ago. She started me off with a nutrition/lifestyle plan. That plan gave me a great starting point that I could build on over time She also evaluated my food intake and eating patterns by way of an online food journal. During our time she provided feedback, motivation, tips, and a ton of simple, yummy, healthy recipes to keep me on track. She was quite skilled at balancing my goals with her knowledge and provided a wellness plan that fit my lifestyle so I was able to maintain it

Jori has changed my life. Even though I've been a vegetarian for 25 years, I mostly ate frozen foods. I wasn't getting enough fresh vegetables and fruits. Jori keep encouraging me to buy a blender and start blending. Finally I did about a year ago. I've discovered an entire new way of eating. Now I'm getting huge amounts (too much?) of spinach, kale, fruit, chai seeds, raw oats, cacao, Greek yogurt, etc. Thank you Jori!

I've worked with Jori and I can tell you that she is exceptional! The detail that she goes into really simplified the process for me. It's been almost two years since I worked with her and I still use most of the tactics that she provided for me. I also love that I can refer my patients to her and know they will be taken care of!

I worked with Jori over the last several months and one of the things I really needed help with was meal prep. Living alone its very hard to get motivated to cook every night. Jori helped me with meal prep and making meals to freeze so I’m prepared! She even helped me get over my Instant Pot phobia! Jori is very knowledgeable and her attention to detail is exceptional. She was able to make me very aware of how important it is to read labels too! Jori will focus on your specific needs and give additional input where she sees necessary.

What a wonderful experience!! I have seen several nutrition/health advisors in my life and while they have all been beneficial, Jori with Nutrition Savvy has been the BEST! Her attention to detail was so refreshing, she was very clear with what was expected of me and why it was important to follow her suggestions and plans.
