Walnut Hill is the most incredible venue in Raleigh! It is amazing, not just because of the beautiful layout and endless photo opportunities, but mainly because of Amanda and her awesome staff! They make you feel so supported through your wedding planning process and make your family, friends and loved ones feel so welcome on the big day. I waited 1,000,000x too long to post this! We got married in June 2021. Amanda and the Walnut Hill team are the best in the industry. The property is nothing short of a fairytale. The people are even better. We can’t believe how perfect our day and the scenery was. We had a long day from 8:00am to 10:30 pm but it went so fast and every moment was beautiful. The rooms for everyone to get ready for roomy and comfortable. The barn was incredible. The atmosphere was romantic and timeless. The sound system was amazing and the wedding went without any issues! The venue was amazing and beautiful.
The barn was gorgeous with all of its wooden beams and walls. The double barn doors made for grand entrances and exits for the wedding party and bride.
However there was no ADA parking. A gravel parking lot and no ramp access to the water where this particular ceremony was held. The building itself was handicap accessible.

Nothing short of breathtaking and idyllic can describe this wedding venue. The outdoor area for the ceremony has the beautiful pond as the backdrop for the exchanging of vows. Two outdoor bars allow guests to spread out and avoid long lines. The reception is held in a renovated barn with sliding doors to open up the space even more when dancing starts. When the sun set, guests could walk along the well-lit paths enjoying sounds of nature while enjoying an after dinner cocktail. This was truly a magical wedding and reception held at a wonderful wedding venue.

Walnut Hill was an absolute dream as a venue for my June 2021 wedding and I truly cannot say enough good things about the venue and its owner, Amanda. She was thorough and helpful every step of the way through our wedding planning process and her passion/love for her couples shows through every time you interact with her. One of my favorite venues to work at as a photographer. The getting ready spaces have beautiful natural light, and a large enough space for even the biggest of wedding parties. So many options for ceremony, cocktail & reception space, so every event is unique & personal to the couple. The have a covered pavilion, so if you are wanted an outdoor ceremony but need a rain plan it is covered without having to flip the reception space. The owner and venue manager are one of the kindest and hard working staff in the industry. I always look forward to events here.

My Husband and I got married here on May 30, 2021. We absolutely LOVED this location as well as the staff and owner of this venue. We had access to the entire property all day and we loved the fact that we could have the ceremony and reception all in one place. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and there are many different options to have a ceremony. The coordinator we used, who also works at the venue, was just BEYOND amazing and truly on top of every single thing to the smallest detail. Her and her team helped to make our day stress free. Was there for a wedding and it was very beautiful. But inside the house was steep stairs I saw the bride arduously climbing up and descending down in her gown. But was glad they had a big table for several family members to sit at and talk pre wedding. Barn was very spacious and had a ton of fun dancing on the dance floor as the DJ played mostly good songs. But the place was perfect otherwise.

Walnut Hill checked all of our boxes for a wedding venue -- the southern wedding charm, the dramatic and beautiful landscape, covered spaces to get married if there is rain, a place to get ready (for both the guys and girls; seriously the biggest groom's suite I've seen at a wedding venue!), and the list truly goes on. Wow - I don't know where to begin because I'm just so excited to tell you all how amazing Walnut Hill is! We toured multiple wedding venues before Walnut Hill and after each one we both had certain things we didn't like about them.
