Our Team of Family Medicine SpecialistsOur team consists of five physicians and two physician assistants, as well as an office manager and clinical, front office and billing staff. Laura E. Kass, PA-C has been with our office since 2014, and she obtained her degree at Central Michigan University in 2009.

Office personnel are very friendly and professional. The nurses are excellent, always calling back promptly with lab results, always professional. Dr Meier takes time to check all of my medications, about 13 regular meds I take daily, before prescribing any new medications. He’s very thorough and answers any questions I have.
I’ve recommended Lowell Medical, and Dr Meier specifically, to several people, and at least two of them have made him their primary physician. I’ll continue to recommend Lowell Medical because they provide excellent care on every level.

This place is a joke! Ive been the two times. Both times the female doctor was very condescending. The first time she prescribed two different meds to take at the same time for gout in my ankle. Ended up in the ER because the two meds where not suppose to be taken together. Secound time I went for flu like symptoms. Same doctor with the same attitude. Perscribed me anti nausea pills. Didn't give me any instructions on how to proceed as far as fluids, food, and rest. Ended up in the ER again. Oh I failed to mention she was on the phone the entire time the first visit. Exceptional...every time I have ever called, I’ve gotten in right away. Everyone I’ve ever seen there is super nice and understanding. I do not understand the 1 stars they have gotten. It has to have been from people that, do not have a medical degree, dose not work in customer service, and is narsistic. I mean come on people. Be glad you can call and get into a medical place to be seen . And the prescription 1 Star has to be from someone that needed narcotics let’s be real here. I’ve always been treated good when going here and have never had a problem.

Unhappy with their service (not sure if it's related to the doctor I chose - Dr Lixie). Half of the time she says she is sending a prescription, the pharmacy doesn't receive anything. I also have to call in for follow up appointments (which you'd think that should be done during the last appointment). I also had a random doctor once step into the room I was in. Did I mention that their reminder call is the previous night? So if you forgot to write it down back a few months earlier, you have to make arrangements (that could be avoided if they had that call set up 48-72 hours prior). People are nice

I've never had a bad experience here. The wait ranges from 0 minutes to 15 minutes. I am usually in and out within an hour at most. They have some late days so I can come after work. I've never felt rushed in an appointment with Dr. Lixie. They also are very good at getting you in for an appointment when you are sick (just not always with your same doctor).

Dr. Lang has been my physician for over 20years! All of the providers and staff here are very caring, and take the time with you. I do arrive as requested 20 minutes early for may appointments, and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for the doctor to come in my room. The girls in the office are always very helpful. I think this office deserves a 5 star rating!!

Very dissatisfied with Lowell Family Medical Center! They don't keep anyone on the desk through lunch. So for any working folks out there like myself that try to get things done from 12-1pm on our lunch break this is not the Family practice I would recommend. Had to leave work early to pick up my script. This was after going in there on my lunch break to pick it up... Dropped the prescription off at the pharmacy; Go back to pick prescription up but the Dr. (I won't say which one out of respect) did not put the quantity on the written prescription. So this is 8pm now there office is closed... Um

I've been working in the Lowell area for months now and have tried to make an appointment with this office twice for quick visits (my doctor is a Metro Health doctor in Grand Rapids, so not convenient to go all the way out there for a quick check on something) just to ease my mind. Each time I've called there the woman who answers the phone (didn't write her name down, but it is the same woman) is unbelievably rude. She is very condescending and even though they advertise same day emergency appointments, she laughed at me when I suggested such a thing. I just wish the doctors there could hear the

I have been going to Lowell family medical for almost two years with my family. I feel often times they are too quick to prescribe medication without full examining my concerns. I took my daughter in the other night and saw the dr. He was very quick and right away prescribed anti-biotics, I expressed concern that I feel she has been prescribed them to much this year and he ignored my concern. I brought up a few other concerns and instead of just telling me that we should reschedule for another day for a more full evaluation he proceeded to say that it was the end of the day and he didn't have time

This practice is the best around. I have never had to wait for an appointment, everyone is so nice and caring and they make you feel like you and your health problems and concerns are their top priority. I have dealt with them on a professional level and as a patient and in either case, you are always well cared for, informed almost immediately upon the office receiving your test results and I cannot say enough for this practice.
