The Chicago Ballet Center
The Chicago Ballet Center seeks to implement a hybrid of artistry, athleticism, and culture within the diverse communities of Chicago to help young people grow and develop as mature individuals, creative artists, and thoughtful community members. The Chicago Ballet Center works to nurture the creativity, physical and artistic development of young people through a rigorous dance curriculum, inclusive of all forms of dance and movement.

The Chicago Ballet Center understands the correlation between creativity and social/emotional/intellectual development. We believe in offering age appropriate challenges, that lead to a solid foundation of dance technique in a safe and nurturing environment.

Nestled up on the 4th floor of 4041 N Milwaukee Ave is the Chicago Ballet Center. We are thrilled to have found this unassuming, yet serious dance school and community of dancers. My daughter had no problem switching over for tap and ballet. The education is based on the Cuban/Alonso Method and really focuses on dancers using their bodies athletically with balance and minimum harm. The parents have been welcoming, unlike our last school where no one spoke or smiled. Finally, there are two programs a year, and the costuming is included in the fees. Judith, who runs the front desk, does a darling

My 4 year old recently began taking dance classes here and she absolutely loves it. The instructors are very knowledgeable and professional; such a patient and sweet demeanor towards the little learners. As the kids gain more experience, they are encouraged to pass on to the next level. The challenge and fun that this place offers is ideal for anyone at all age levels. Highly recommend.

My toddler started ballet classes here this spring and she loves it! Most studios need a commitment from fall to spring, but The Chicago Ballet Center has shorter sessions for little ones so they can try it out. My daughter looks forward to her class every week and loves her teacher. The teachers and staff are so warm and welcoming, and they don't seem to mind nosy parents like myself peeking through the glass to watch our little ballerinas. And the kids don't need any actual dance skills to have a blast learning!

I find that Director Paul Abrahamson is an individual who cares for his dancers, hires excellent staff and understands parents. The Chicago Ballet Center (4041 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60641, USA) is where you and your children go to learn the art of dance and the joy of music! I visited CBC during the Open House Chicago event and had a chance to talk to several staff, kids and parents...they all were very enthusiastic about this program.
