Kollander World Travel first opened its doors in May of 1923 as a one-man agency with entrepreneur August Kollander, Sr. His original office was located in the ethnic community of E. 65th and St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. At that time, the majority of the business was selling steamship passage to European immigrants returning to their homeland, and providing a wide range of special services to the local neighborhood.

Kathy Lee Nolan is the most incredible travel agent I have ever used for my vacation planning. We planned our dream vacation to Europe at I could not be happier!!! I thought I could plan through Expedia or Travelocity and could do better, but I honestly regret wasting my time even trying. With Kathy I didn't have to worry about anything.. and at the end of the day the costs were pretty much the same. I will call Kathy Lee and Kollander every time from now on!! Travel is definitely an art... I had no idea.

AVOID - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
I phoned and spoke with Judy Koblentz to ask about some options for travel. We spoke for 20 minutes and she agreed to email some information. I emailed back to inquire about plane tickets (we had discussed originally but I was not emailed). My reply must have been intended for a colleague, because in the email the travel agent described that I was "needy", to "not spend much time", and that she had "spent 1 hour on the phone". This woman needs FIRED if she doesn't realize the point of a travel agency IS TO SPEND TIME COORDINATING TRAVEL.
