The search for what to use for an awning can be frustrating and tedious. I wanted something durable, low maintenance and nice looking. I hired New Dawn Awning and they solely use Duralum products. From the pictures I saw I decided to go with it. I was not disappointed! It is stunning! The materials are strong and beautiful!

DO NOT WORK WITH DON! Don caused significant damage to our home in addition to poor quality workmanship. The last time Don was at our home he got mad, yelled at my wife for pointing out damages. He walked off and told her to file a complaint with CSLB and that's what we did.
EVERY.SINGLE.ASPECT of installation was not done correctly and caused damage.
Please do yourself a favor and go with a more reputable & qualified company. In the end you may have to spend a little more out of pocket, but it will be worth it. We are 6.5 months in trying to get resolution, it has not been pleasant

DO NOT USE! Caused damage to our home in addition to poor quality workmanship. Drilled hole through roof & tile, cut through drip edge, external & off center electrical all done without my consent and not previously discussed. But wait there's more....split 4 out of 5 rafters where roof brackets were placed. Patio cover was NOT centered on concrete pad as discussed. Basically every aspect of installation was not done correctly or caused damage.

This company is TOP Notch! They build the BEST covers with care for my property. It is as if they were working on their own home! They are very fairly priced and only use the BEST material and sealers!
This is the 2nd patio they built for me and I continue to be impressed!!! They actually arrived early and did a GREAT job. There was no mess to deal with. The only thing they left behind was a great looking patio!!!!

ONLY because I HAVE TO give at least 1 star.....DON IS NOT A HONEST PERSON AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY ETHICS! He said he would give referral bonuses. So I had provided him 3 referrals which he technically only gave me 1 referral bonus. He paid me for my 1st bonus referral. My 2nd referral, he "deducted the promised $50 bonus" from the grand total since my referral were my in-laws, and told my in-laws to give me $50.....seriously, how unprofessional is that! The 3rd referral, it's been nearly 2 years and he REFUSES to send me my referral bonus. (Trust me, I gave up after about 6 months

Don was tremendous and customer service was paramount. From the day he visited with us until after install - nothing but honesty and accommodations. They did really clean work and will be there for us if we need anything down the road. Don is in this for future jobs not just one and done... price was amazing - couldn't be happier!

Recently had a cover installed with fan and electrical outlets. He missed installation by 12 days, left a mess inside my home where electrical connection was, left metal shavings all over the ground by my pool where the family and pets walk with no shoes, overcut the stucco where it connects leaving a horrible unpainted patch line, and lastly didn't complete the job to 100% completion as requested or as we spoke about the day of the install. I was out of town on install day because he was late so I could only speak with him by phone. Quality of material is good and I'm happy with overall
