Best chicken sandwich in the LA county. You have got to try it! You can get two chicken sandwich combos for a great deal. Also the colors on the bun make it more fun :)

Went here about a week and a half ago. Chicken was seasoned very well, and the pickles and coleslaw pair nicely with it. They offer honey on the side and that takes it to another level, the sweet and savoriness. The owners are very nice and make sure you’re satisfied with your meal. Definitely coming back!

Excellent lunch menus featuring savory homemade soups & desserts , well constructed sandwiches, and local dishes. Bluebell ice cream and lots of swamp & railroad souvenirs to take home.

Haven’t had hot chicken in quite awhile. This happened to be directly across the street from the hotel I was staying at and had 4+ stars. They did not disappoint! The different colored buns were a neat feature with varying levels of heat on the chicken. Spices were flavorful. If I’m ever back in CA again I’ll be here.

Amazing sliders. The service was top notch and very informative and helpful for deciding what would appeal to whatever you may fancy. The chicken is perfectly crispy, juicy, and falls apart effortlessly when you bite into it. Perfect if you're looking for something better than your normal chicken or fish sandwich that won't hurt your wallet.
10/10 would walk here and eat sliders with my tired girlfriend again.

What a great sandwich. Place is super clean, really friendly staff. Got the Xtra Hot "sliders". Heat was on point. Portions are huge, and the fries are crazy good too. 100% will go back again.

Saw them in Bradley Martyn's YouTube and started following their IG pg so if I was ever in LA I'd check them out, since my wife and I love chicken sandwiches. We found ourselves in LA for our honeymoon so had to check it out. We got the combo #1, her spice level was med, mine was hot and I added cheese. The wife said her spice level was just right. This place was absolutely wonderful, the staff was kind and very informative. Wish they had one of these closer to home for me. When I return to LA I will make this a stop no matter what. Best fried chicken on the west coast!

Do yourself a favor and eat here! Fish slider A-amazing! Fries are flavored to perfection and crunchy! Sauce on the side is delish! We had the #3 which is 1 chicken and 1 fish! I enjoyed the mild flavor while my husband loved the kick of spice the medium offered. Owners are friendly, kind and have superb customer service! A must try!

Yyyyooooooo this place is absolute 🔥🔥🔥! When I walked in Caro caught me at the door and immediately asked me how I was and if I’d ever been here before and when I said no he told me about the place and what they had and luckily for me he then took his time to really work through the spice levels because let me tell you that x hot is so spicy but SOOOO GGGOOODDDDD!!!! I got the #1 with one hot and one x-hot chicken slider and all the flavors with the pickles coleslaw and sauce blended perfectly! I also had to try a tender and I wasn’t disappointed there either! Definitely recommend

If you plan on staying in the Folkston area, Whistlin' Dixie really is where it is at. It feels like the local corner store, where the owners know your name and you quickly feel like a regular.

Inside is like a trinket store, until you see that they also serve lunch and ice cream here. If you are planning at staying at Railside Lodging, they take 10% off you bill when you eat with them. Do not take this lightly, the food is good!

We stopped here on our way home from Augusta, Ga for a quick bite. What a great find. Delicious sandwiches! We had a variety of club sandwiches, the Reuben and chicken salad. The owner Dixie was there and was very friendly. She a lot of the history of the town with us. We look forward to another stop by the next time we get up this way.

I was on my motorcycle traveling from Ft Eustis Virginia to Tampa Florida on my way home and came through Folkston Ga., around lunch time. I prefer these mom and pop diners over the fast food junk so I swung through the downtown and found the Whistlin Dixie

I was warmly greeted by three young people and was quickly asked what I would like and ordered the specials. Service and conversation was quick and very pleasant. This little all-purpose gift shop/coffee spot/ice cream parlour/sandwich spot serves its meals only on select weekdays at lunchtime. Come here on the weekend and you can try their delicious coffee drinks or get a nice refreshing scoop of their ice cream. Sometimes they have desserts you can enjoy at their wooden tables.

You can also get custom framing done here and peruse the various knickknacks they have here, like tees and scarves.

They are open on Saturdays, but closed on Sundays. It's always a treat to come here when I'm in the area.
