I contacted Rich to cater the Baby Shower Brunch I held on October 2nd. What a fantastic experience. We spoke at length about what I was hoping for and Rich provided me with a very detailed plan to include a server. The menu was a great mix of breakfast and lunch fare and my guests raved about the food. Maria was there to set up and help guests as they went around the brunch table. Simply Elegant provided more than enough food for my event and at the conclusion it was package for use later. Absolutely, without question, a great caterer!
I was hosting a baby shower for 45 people and needed a VA caterer. I live out of state. Rich was fantastic. He checked out the venue for me, he helped me plan a vegetarian/vegan menu. He helped with all kinds of details. All the guests RAVED about the food. He made my party a success and I am so grateful. His assistant for the day was Ashley and she was phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, professional!

Simply Elegant is such a Reston culinary gem! They have a Cafe located in our office building & also provide catering services all over the NOVA area. I highly recommend using this caterer! I did a low-key wedding reception a few weeks after I got married. Rich helped me visualize what I wanted (heavy snacks, casual but pretty outdoor setting, tents, tables, to encourage socializing, etc), and set a perfect menu. People later praised the food, and the fact that people were never left waiting for food - the passed trays came around with frequency. We have used Simply Elegant several times for family events and each time has been exceptional. Rich and team are very professional and honest, timely and will do everything they can if you are in a pinch. I appreciate that they listen to my ideas and preferences but will also make suggestions on other options that may be more cost effective or more creative/exciting. They offer a variety of options and everything we have had has been amazing. Our guests always comment on how good the food is. We are and will continue to be repeat customers.

My CEO gave me a week to plan a private dinner party at his home a couple of days before Thanksgiving. We used their catering service for my parents 50th anniversary party a couple of weeks ago and they were on the money! The menu was creative and delicious, and the service for the 40 guests was second to none! Dave arrived a few days before the event to walk through the food service set up and schedule, which was helpful. They were also very competitive on price in comparison to other caterers in the area. Would definitely use them again!

Simply Elegant is a small cafeteria in a corporate office building. I currently doing an internship with a company here and today I forgot to bring my lunch and decided to grab a quick lunch here. I got the Ruben sandwich and it contain hot corned beef with sauerkraut, 1000 island dressing, melted Swiss cheese served on grilled rye bread. It was good but nothing special about it. I wouldn't mind coming back if I forgot my lunch again.
