Why is mudjacking superior to other forms of concrete raising? Mudjacking provides the greatest control over the lift. The moment we release the pump trigger, the slab stabilizes in that position. With other techniques the slab continues to rise after the injection stops or the slab can compress the fill after it is blown in.
When concrete pavement settles around a house, it can allow water and snow melt to accumulate along the foundation and seep down, causing wet, damp basements and potential mold. When the water carries road salt it also can weaken and damage the foundation itself. Meanwhile, uneven pavement leaves property owners legally liable if someone trips and falls.
Nothing lasts forever, not even concrete. But Metro Concrete Raising Inc. adheres to all of the best practices in the industry to make sure our rock-solid pours stand the test of time. These are a few of our standard practices to ensure a top-quality job. Use at least 4,000 psi concrete on every job and up to 7,000 psi fast-curing concrete for commercial clients who need to be back on the surface quickly.

Hired MCRI to raise the concrete sidewalk leading up to my front steps. They scheduled me quickly and the guys that came to do the job were great and did an awesome job. Would recommend to anyone needing a slab lifted.

I called for an estimate and had to leave a voice message. My call was returned by Phil, he stated that to send an estimator out it would be an additional charge add onto the bill of $50 (even though the website says FREE ESTIMATES). Phil told me that he would just send out a crew in 2 days to do the garage floor and it would be $600 for the first cubic yard and anything else would be additional. I first told him to go ahead but the next day I decided to get an estimate from another company. The other company gave me a FIRM estimate. I was not comfortable with Phil's open ended estimate so I called

Water had caused a large hole to develop under the front stoop and steps at my Plymouth neighbor's house. Metro Concrete Raising filled the large cavern and jacked the concrete structure so it drained away from the house. This not only solved the water issue but eliminated the persistent mouse problem in the basement. I was impressed by how fast and neatly the crew completed the project.
