Companion Home Care was a godsend when my parents suddenly needed in-home assistance. I can't say enough good things about Companion Home Care! Michelle, Candy and Valerie went out of their way to make sure that my parents had caregiving coverage during the middle of the pandemic. Candy and Valerie had regular schedules, but there were several times that they altered and added time slots to accommodate my parents. Michelle is a true professional and I could always count on her to make time to discuss changes happening with my Mom and Dad. Unfortunately, we had to put my parents in an assisted living facility. But I think they were able to live in their house longer because of Companion

The owner of companion home care is more concerned with the amount of money that goes into her pocket than the well-being and care of the individuals they are supposed to be taking care of. The company exploits the elderly in their commercials without any compensation. I would not recommend this company to care for your loved ones. We have been extremely dissatisfied with the care given to our loved one, and the lack of communication with the owner is laughable.

Michelle and her group of caregivers made my Grandmother's knee replacement recovery seamless. After my first call with Michelle, I already felt at ease about my Grandmother's transition back home. She had clear evidence of experience and knowledge from previous clients, which helped guide us through the process. Throughout her recovery, Michelle was flexible with the needs of the client and the family. She is passionate about her clients and it shows, as she treats them like her own family. Companion Home Care was the best of the 4-5 home care agencies in Roanoke that we tried for my grandmother. Other home care companies sent different caregivers from week to week and there was never any stability for her. Companion Home Care was a God send as they sent the same caregiver each day, who my grandmother happened to LOVE, and even when she was not available they had a quick replacement that was fantastic. My family hired Companion Home Care for my grandmother who lives at Smith Mountain Lake.
