Born an old silver mining town, Austin Nevada was home to some of Nevada's more colorful prospectors and silver miners. Today, with the expansive Toiyabe Mountain Range as its backyard, it features some of the best mountain biking, hiking and exploring in the state. Although rich in history, this town is not a "ghost town."

Our three rooms offer comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfasts, and warm hospitality, flat screens TVs with over 100 cable channels to choose from, and the main common room is a great place to hang out and relax, or spend some time in our amazing yard and enjoy the peace and quiet of small town life.
Services
Here you will enjoy warm hospitality, scrumptious breakfasts, and all the amenities of home. Our rooms are all named after historic things from Austin past eras. The rooms are tastefully decorated with pictures and memorabilia from that era. Set in a quiet residential neighborhood, our modest B&B features antiques, a restful shaded deck, and a tree-covered yard with a great view.
Stay at our awesome two bedroom cabin located in the town of Kingston, & also in the center of Nevada. The local saloon, grocery store, and fishing pond, are all within walking distance. Kingston is the gateway to the Toiyabe's so bring your hiking boots, ATV's, side by sides, fishing poles, and hunting gear.
All dogs must be declared and pre approved If you have a dog, please keep it off of the beds and furniture. We do charge extra for damage done by your animal. Please keep ATV's Side by Sides and motorcycles in the parking areas, don't bring them into the fenced area. Please don't take our towels to use at Groves Lake or Spencers Hot Springs, bring your own please.
The Emma Nevada Suite features a King size 4 poster bed with private bath with a walk-in shower. We also have a chair that pulls out in to a twin bed for the extra guest. This rooms has a refrigerator in the room and access to a microwave just outside the door. We have strict nonsmoking policy in the rooms and request that you please smoke outside in designated areas.

Great experience! The owners have made this house comfortable and welcoming, and they've kept everything in the spirit of this iconic town. They served our large party a great breakfast, cooked perfectly. They entertained us with local history, which they are working to preserve.

After a long day on the lonely road 50, this cozy and friendly bed and breakfast feels like a gift. The warm and accommodating owner make you feel at home. Our room was quaint, comfortable and in tune with the historical nature of the house. Breakfast was delicious ! We truly had a wonderful stay !

My parents and I stayed here just one night while passing through Austin and we were pleased with our stay here with Dee. She graciously welcomed us and showed us around. The rooms were thoughtfully laid out all the necessary amenities and she even included some bottled water. She served a yummy breakfast of blueberry pancakes and sausage along with juice, coffee and tea. (Trust her when she says the pancakes are big!) Overall it was a nice experience and if we ever need to stay in Austin again we will definitely stay with Dee.

This is a fantastic place to stay! The two bad reviews are from people that haven’t even stayed here. What a rotten shame that people would impugn a small business like that! This place is charming, clean, and comfortable and the owners are wonderful people.

There was a beetle in my breakfast cereal when I went to eat. Horrible. The only good part about the whole stay was the bed. And when I went to complain about it the lady at the front desk seemed like she didn't care.

Came in at 3pm on a Saturday and were told to make ourselves at home. We had a great time traveling around the Austin area. We enjoyed sitting in there front yard enjoying the evening. Breakfast were delicious and quite filling. The rooms or at least the one we stayed in was clean and had a comfortable bed. We stayed two nights over the Memorial day weekend and made reservations for next year. I would highly recommend Union Street to anyone visiting Austin Nevada.

When I called to check for a reservation the woman I spoke with was rude. And informed me that they are closed for the season until march however no where on the website does it mention that.
