LMDS opened in the Fall of 1999 under the direction of Teresa Merritt. Life Moves stresses the joy of dancing and the well being of each student. Dance technique and performance in our community is strongly encouraged to build a solid foundation on which each dancer can continue to grow as an artist and individual.

Services
Graille Merritt is a native of Richmond Hill & and an alumnae of Richmond Hill High School. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of General Studies with minors in Business, Criminal Justice and Communication Arts. She is hoping to, in her near future, get her Legal Mediation Certification and become a mediator for family and criminal law.

For Ballet, a classical look is suggested: Black leotard (or class specific color leotard assigned by the instructor), pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and hair pulled back out of your face. Paid for my daughter to have hip hop classes all year and 80+ dollars for recital outfit. Once it was time for the recital, we were told there would be four different dates for recitals. Due to COVID-19, there was a limited amount of people that could come and we understood that. However, due to the recitals being broken down into 4 different dates, we assumed it would have more quality and time. The recital lasted a total of one hour. Between dances, the kids were rushed onto stage for the next act. You could hear the dance instructors (including owner) fussing at the kids behind the black curtain
