Simsbury Meadows
Darius Rucker first achieved multi-Platinum status in the record industry as lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the Grammy Award-winning band Hootie & The Blowfish. In the interest of our community's health and safety, several events scheduled for the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center's (SMPAC) 2020 season had to be cancelled or postponed.

Obviously, the loss of this revenue has an impact on the future of this valuable community asset. We know that the enjoyment and enrichment the SMPAC provides is meaningful to you and we have already taken steps to help protect its future. We are managing our budget carefully and have made adjustments now which will help ensure that we are ready for a full 2021 season.

We have the best time by Darius Rucker. Lines are a little long for the bathrooms and the beer. Definitely need more porta potties but a great time oh and got to figure something out with traffic when leaving no easy way out

Not the best place to see a concert unless you want to pay even more money or stand the entire show. For the price you pay you should have a seat.Go when the gates open if you want to see the show. The Parking is unorganized chaos at best.

For an outdoor venue it was terrific. The parking can be a pain if you don't know your way around. All in all, wonderful!

Seating at Meadows is first come first severed, understood. However could have easily been more organized with guidance and passage lines painted on the ground.
Also, the number of vendors could have been doubled to avoid long lines, waiting times.

Great venue and sound system. Clean portopotties and wash stations. Plenty of parking. Loved the fireworks after last night's concert.

This show was a diamond. The 5 piece band was grand. The incredible backup of the Hartford Symphony made the night a tremendous memory. We had a marvelous, memorable night. Thank you to all of the people who we enjoyed the event with.

This is a gorgeous event Center. I really wish we had this in town. It also had a biking/ running/walking trail going by plus a two minute walk to several shops on the main street in Simsbury. Such a cool location!

Very nice venue, just hope for no rain! Parking is an issue if you have any difficulty walking. I was told leaving from the parking lot is a nightmare. I highly recommend the shuttle. I took the shuttle and was out of town before any traffic back up occurred. For some events they have food trucks with a great assortment and other events you can bring your own. I will definitely go back!

Very nice place. Well organized and clean. It was a breeze to get in and out despite the amount of people there. Everyone was very friendly.

Should be renamed BounceFest. There was no hot air ballon ride, no train ride, and two uninspiring food trucks. That said, there were infinite bouncers. All in all, well suited for families with small kiddos but beyond that, the seasonal section at Costco is more engaging.

Septemberfest has gone through a few tweaks since we moved here 30 years ago. It used to be sprawled through the big parking lot in front of Iron Horse Boulevard, with music, vendor booths, a big craft tent, and lots of food booths.

Then the festival disappeared for a while, and a few years ago it reappeared in a different version on the grounds of the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center. A lot of the features are the same, or at least similar.

They still offer lots of musical entertainment (we heard a pretty good Creedence cover band tonight), there are still a lot of vendor booths at the
