I am an adventurer and athlete, claiming the following to my sports resume: runner, swimmer, cyclist, snowboarder, and sometimes climber. I am a Texas Longhorn at heart and a transplant to the South Lake Tahoe area, which I have called home since 2006. Today, I am a destination wedding photographer available for event, portrait and wedding photography in the Reno Tahoe Area and beyond.
I love traveling and I have the added benefit of flying for free so I'm willing to provide my services almost anywhere in the nation with no travel fee. I have a Bachelor of the Sciences in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas at Austin, but discovered late in that I'm pretty damn talented at combining my education with my love of people into this kick ass job.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. Lauren has such a fun personality that it made the day so relaxed and wonderful. Her professionalism and hustle to get the formal portraits done was appreciated by everyone there. Our finished photos are gorgeous! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Lauren again.

We found the photographer who we will use forever. Originally, Lauren volunteered with a community project I was affiliated with. Kudos in my book for being community oriented, always giving back. Then, a year later I won a raffle for a small shoot and got to experience her. Work with her, see, hire...? However you put it I think we're, like, friends now?

I could not be happier with the pictures Lauren captured from our wedding! She has an eye for special moments and was so skilled at preserving the emotions of our day. Every person that views our gallery has a huge grin on their face. Even my dad who was slightly ambivalent about the pricing at first stated, "the pictures were worth the extra money". Coming from a large family with 28 first cousins, he believes that our wedding had the best pictures out of any other family wedding we've attended (across the country). All our guests were also super impressed at how organized Lauren was and appreciated

We hired Lauren for our small wedding at Sand Harbor in Incline Village. We adored her pictures we saw on her website and went for it! So glad we did! I hired Lauren for my elopement that was put together fairly last minute in Tahoe, which I'd never been to. I honestly don't think I could have put in less effort planning this elopement and Lauren was a big part of why it turned out to be such a magical day. She not only gave us incredible photos that we'll cherish for a lifetime, but between her and our captain/officiant (we got married on a boat) they chose perfect places for our ceremony, photos, and great spots for a romantic boat tour afterwards. She was also such a joy to have as our one and only guest.

We are so thankful that we came across Lauren while searching for a wedding photographer. My husband and I wanted a small, intimate wedding in South Lake Tahoe – the place where we got engaged. We were worried that finding a photographer within out budget in South Lake Tahoe was going to be hard, but after emailing Lauren, I knew she was the one. Lauren was loved by us, our family and friends and made that part of our day that much better. She made everything easy, and the pictures turned out beautiful! Do yourself a favor and book Lauren!

Lauren is an insanely hard worker. Her response time to your questions and emails is amazing. We planned a destination wedding, and it was so helpful to have her answer our questions so quickly.
We are so happy with our photos and cannot say enough about her fun attitude. She made the day less stressful because she was having fun and kept it light. She was incredibly organized and got our family portraits done in no time. All of our family was complimentary about her as well.

I can't say enough about Lauren. She turned a day of bad weather into gorgeous photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
Our wedding day was cold and raining with thunder and lightening storms just hours before our 5pm outdoor ceremony in Lake Tahoe. Lauren found alternate "first look" spots and offered to reshoot on a different day if we didn't get what we were hoping for on the actual wedding day. In the end, we had an epic sunset and our pictures came out better than I ever could have imagined. Hire Lauren...it's a no brainer!!!

Lauren is phenomenal! Writing a review for her doesn't do her justice... but I'll try! Lauren traveled down to SF to take our engagement photos - the girl has NO TRAVEL FEES- which is crazy... on top of her already super affordable wedding package price! We had so much fun and our pictures really captured that! Lauren felt like a friend from the moment we met her. She answered my hundreds of emails, spent time with me on the phone, and always put me at ease and made anything I asked possible.
