Robert C Newell (Bill and Bonnie's father) conducted his first auction in 1943. He was a full-time farmer, and auctioneer. He obtained his real estate license in the 1960's. He ran his office out of a red storage barn at his home farm and hand painted his own auction signs in the basement of his house.

I wish I could give this business a better rating but unfortunately I cannot. My family and I live in Florida and had to travel back and forth to Carrollton several times after my great uncle died to deal with his affairs, including his property. From what we heard around the Carrollton community, this family business was one of the best. Initially he was going to also sell the house but we’ve decided to transfer realtors after this horrible experience.
