Viking Mat Company is one of the largest suppliers of timber mat products in North America and has been in the forest products industry since 1910. We work primarily in the timber industry as a timber mat fabricator and supplier. We supply Crane mats, Oilfield mats, Bridge mats, Road board, Hardwood Lagging, Three Ply Laminated Mats, and Pipeline skids.
We offer new and used 8-inch timber mats made of mixed hardwoods, solid oak, or douglas fir. All of our temporary road mats can be notched to expose bolts or can be used with cables to make lifting easy. Additionally, the timber mats we offer are durable enough to stabilize most track equipment.
Since our road mats are made to be temporary solutions, for your convenience, we offer buyback and rent-to-own agreements in addition to outright purchases.Typically used on ROWs, under cranes/heavy equipment, or for bridging creeks, rivers, etc. The type of timber you choose for your temporary road mat is important, as all species have different characteristics.

At Viking Mat, we have new and used 12-inch timber mats. The mats come in either mixed hardwoods, solid oak, pine or Douglas fir and are durable enough to add stability to most track equipment. Any of our timber mats can be notched to expose bolts or used in conjunction with cables for easy lifting.
Our Cross-Laminated Timber Mats (CLT access mats) are lightweight, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly. CLT access mats are layered wood panels made from solid-sawn lumber. These mats are incredibly durable because each layer is perpendicular to the adjacent layer. Our new and used CLT access mats are a convenient, portable choice for your construction projects.
