My feet have endured 62 years since polio and lately i've not been doing well with self-care. In hindsight i should have been seeing a podiatrist regularly since i had my ankle fused at Boston Children's Hospital at age 15. Anyhow, i'm preparing for a 2 week trip to Ireland - lots of walking and biking. Also horseback riding. Lately I just can't seem to take care of my calluses to be comfortable with my old and new shoes and my primary care refers me to Dr Mitry. I was able to schedule a visit the following week. Dr Mitry was on-time and very cordial, approachable with questions
