We are happy to provide the public with access to research and reports regarding local healthcare needs and services. As a local, not-for-profit healthcare center, we participated in the Montana Office of Rural Health's Community Health Services Development Project. Below are results from community health surveys conducted in 2008 and 2011, along with our plan on how to best meet the health needs of the community with our implementation plan.
At Roosevelt Medical Center, our Emergency Services Department is open 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. Our Business Office, Clinic, and other departments have regular hours as well. I have never been more disappointed in an ER Dr. Our son had head trauma with LOC, he fell about 8 feet onto concrete. Dr Helland did not come back in to tell us results, (he ended up with just a concussion) he didn’t take the time to explain anything to us about our sons little head. I asked him on the phone about how to deal with our son through… the night- to which he told me to look it up on the internet. I’ve never left an ER feeling more scared or uncertain in my life. I am sorry that I have to write negative things about a community necessity but this has to change. There

My wife and I just stopped in to the E.R. she has been having SVT recently due to her being pregnant. We rang the back door bell, 3-4 minutes later a nurse appears. She fumbles with the keys to the back door for a minute or two before finally figuring it out. She asks what we were there for, I told the nurse what she had been going through. Then she follows by telling me to wait in the parking lot, even though the nurse read both of our temperatures? You mean to tell me that my wife is having heart problems and you expect me to wait in the parking lot for a nurse to come out and "give me updates
