In 1977, a local woodworking business was started. It was a one man, part time operation. In the late 80's, a decision was made to partner with another highly skilled woodworker and expand the operation. A molder was purchased and a shop built. At this time, the focus was primarily on high quality trim.
In 1998, the partnership was dissolved and a 6000 square foot building was constructed. Woodworkers from the local Amish community were hired and the business grew. A year later, another 10,000 square foot building was added. Product lines were expanded to include countertops and stair parts. New, state of the art equipment was purchased and the business flourished.

We offer butcher blocks, end grain butcher blocks and plank countertops in a variety of wood choices. Most woods are available up to 5" thick, 84" wide and 180" long. Our wood countertops are carefully manufactured using only the best lumber. Offered in unfinished and prefinished, they will add beauty and value to your home.
Below are some photos of our products shared by our customers. Many have been finished on site, and sometimes stained. Lighting conditions vary. These pictures are from many different settings. While they can give you an idea of the overall beauty of a particular product, these pictures should not by used to determine the wood color or other specific characteristics.
Country Mouldings offers mouldings, stair treads and butcher blocks in a variety of wood species. Only FAS and Select grade lumber is used. If you don't see your desired wood below, contact us. My husband is a contractor and was very pleased with the quality of our
stair treads. One of the 11 was missed in packaging with original shipments,
but they shipped it when I contacted them after receiving all boxes. There
were 2 treads per box and all did not arrive at the same time. But the
quality and timely correspondence made up for the above. We could not find
the thicker treads locally, so paying for shipment was worth it.

Gorgeous product and phenomenal customer service!!! I ordered a chocolate maple butcher block bar top for my pass through wall opening and I am very pleased. Peter's customer service was phenomenal throughout and his replies were prompt. I am very detail oriented and have worked in quality and customer service for years myself, so I have very high standards and Country Mouldings met them. I highly recommend
