This is the first review I have ever written as I feel it is my obligation to warn others from being scammed.
My 83 year old mother and I both paid Zachary E. Love to complete tax returns by 7/15/20 deadline. He cashed our checks, did not do any work or file any tax returns, then disappeared with our money and paperwork. He did not answer phone calls, texts, emails or certified mail for a year and 1/2. Recently I started filing some complaints against him and he called us screaming swearing and threatening us. Now he emails us nonstop insulting

Straight up scumbag and thief. My husband hired him to do tax related work and he never did anything (except take payments). Kept saying it takes a long time and delaying until it was clear he was never going to do the work. When you look at his reviews he’ll claim every person who leaves a bad review was never a client but here’s money I sent him from our bank account. What? Big random coincidence that all these people decided to leave you bad reviews and were never clients? There’s some big mysterious conspiracy theory that people you never met or cheated out of money would do that? Give

STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM! My husband and I paid them $1000 to prepare and file our taxes IN MARCH (and, Mr. Love, before you come back and say we weren't clients of yours, I have receipts, emails, text messages all that can prove we were). He drug us along for months and then when the tax deadline came, not only did he disappear with our money and not prepare our file our taxes... But had his associate actually tell us in an email that we were not to contact them again until we heard from him when we asked for a refund because we had to pay someone else to do our taxes the day before the deadline

Since apparently the review my wife left wasn't "valid" because, even though he was preparing HER taxes as well, I was the "client" (according to the phone conversation I just had with Mr. Love after he read her review. SO, here is MY review.

I would not even give one star!!! Zack is unprofessional and unresponsive. My wife and I first met with Zack 3/14/20 and paid Zel $300 to prepare and file 2019 tax returns, which we ended up owing federal and having a return from state. Zack had sent numbers back to us later the same day, and our check was very quickly cashed. All we had to do was sign the 8879 form so our taxes could be filed electronically. Then, due to the extension put in place, because of the pandemic, we had until July 15 to file. I emailed the signed form on July 8 2020. Zack told me it would take about 30 days to get a
