Very nice, basic campground, large spacious sites, bathhouse is simple but was very clean.
Direct access to the river for launching kayaks or wading in the shallow water. (bring watershoes - it's rocky). We were told you need a kayak/canoe to get to the good fishing in the channel on the far side of the river, but they caught big catfish there. Peaceful setting for lowkey camping...there was not a lot to do here, but that's the way we like it! There is occasional road noise from trucks going up the steep hill on the other side of the river, but there seemed to be very little traffic after dark

If I could leave negative stars for this campground I would. We arrived for Memorial Day Weekend and the woman running the campground was so nasty to our group bc we added one extra person! She is a complete psycho, called our friend a liar, said we were taking advantage of her, and said straight to our faces that she will remember us so next time we would not be camping with her. This was during check in which blows my mind! How could we stay and camp there? We got our money back, left, didn't care that it was a holiday weekend.
Unless you want a freak show don't camp here.

I stayed here 1 week in August of 2016 and fell in love with this campgroung. I have been an RVer for 15 years and have stayed at many campgrounds over the years and, in comparison, I enjoyed my stay at Riverside Acres as much or more than many other locations. A fabulous morning greeted me daily as I awoke to the view overlooking the Susquehanna river as well as the beautiful sunsets and the unbelievable view of the stars. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it here.

The camp sites were fine, however, the bathroom/shower house was very dirty & unkempt. Only one of the shower stalls had hooks - the other had none & there were no benches to put clean things on. In fact, there was a note on the wall saying guests should clean the showers after each use. There were no trash cans in the men's room to throw away paper towels, & the one in the ladies' room was overflowing. I would NOT stay here again
