Services
Custom tailored competition dance costumes for the Releve Dance Center. These photos show you the costumes created for three different dance groups from the same studio. Curtains and valences for the other dining area. We made drapes for seven windows for this client and I do believe that we will be making more in the near future. With that high ceiling and one window making the wall feel off balance this client was at a loss. She had fabric and trim and sort of an idea but didn't know how to make it work.
We were able to make a pin fitted slip cover for this stuffed single seat chair and matching ottoman. The client chose red gingham. We opted for the solid color, which was a slightly darker shade of red, for the welting as a nice detail. The seat and back cushions have zippered covers for easy removal.
Front view of the completed chair with new cushion covers. Due to the size of the print on the fabric I opted to paint the legs which were originally covered with fabric. Rear view and please take note of the alignment of the pattern from the front view to the back view. A fabric pattern like this will increase the yardage required.
I teach sewing lessons at our studio Tuesday through Saturday for your convenience. Call for schedules, rates and availability. I have both private and group lessons (max 3 students). I am flexible with what I teach in the lessons, so you can finish those UFOs or learn something completely new. We can cover fashion sewing, home djcor, basic quilting, alterations or brush up on any technique you feel unsure of.

I was supposed to be in a wedding at the beginning of November and due to the pandemic, the bride had us order our dresses online. When I received the dress it was twice the size than the try on dress. I went to one tailor and it didn’t work out. I searched all over Google to find a seamstress to alter my dress since the wedding day was only two weeks away.
