Library of Legacies is a family owned and operated business, which will provide the residents of the South Plains with an alternative, when independent living is no longer an option and 24-hour, skilled nursing is not required. Years of education, experience, and love for the elderly gave Michelle Craig the desire to own and operate an assisted living community. Michelle and her team bring their unique strengths to the business and are truly committed to God, family and business. Since opening their original location in Slaton, Library of Legacies has expanded their mission to include new locations in Idalou and Littlefield.
Come visit Library of Legacies assisted living community in Slaton, where seniors enjoy all the comforts of home. We are located at 1420 Woodrow Road, where we offer two types of spacious floor plans for our residents. The Studio floor plan is one large, spacious room with bed area, full bathroom, walk-in closet, and kitchenette.

Just as my grandmother before her, my mother is now a resident at Library of Legacies. The level of care, compassion and respect that is given to each resident is remarkable. And knowing that my mom is being treated like family, brings so much peace.
The staff at Library of Legacies go over and beyond for their residents, and it's heartwarming to see the love that the owners, manager, and nursing staff have for each of them.
I wouldn't put my mother's care in the hands of anyone else!

My mother stayed at Library of Legacies in Slaton for approximately 4 years. What a wonderful place. Staff was great and made her feel at home from the very first day. Management goes out of their way to make sure that all needs are met promptly and courteously.
I can’t say enough about the staff. They treated my Mom as if she was their own with true love and caring. Had some great times celebrating birthdays, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. And loved our meals at Perks. Great Friday burgers.

A Home for our Mom and Us!
We have had our Mom at her new home since August 2020. I moved her there during Covid-19 and was terrified of the change and moving her. The owner, managers, and caretakers have all become like family to us. This facility is spotless, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming! Our Mom is so proud of her apartment. We brought her furniture, which included her beautiful antiques, her sewing machine, and more! The employees have bonded with our Mom and have connected her with others with similar interests. We all enjoy the PERKS Café delicious food
