The Venue is a unique space that allows you to host your event with pride and confidence. Thanks to the dedication and craftsmanship of the contractors, as well as help from family and friends, my husband and I were able to create a magnificent space that is tucked inside a jewel of a building. We are located within two blocks of The Hotel Bothwell and across the street from Kay's Bridal and Tuxedo.
You and your guests are also within walking distance of restaurants, bars, barber shops, beauty salons and the Ozark coffee shop. I highly recommend The Venue to anyone looking to do a wedding or event of any kind. The owner Michelle was so accommodating and kind and so very helpful. She made my wedding day practically stress free and made it to were I had really nothing to worry about. My wedding went smoothly without any hiccups really and she is absolutely great at what she does. Her mother Gina Potts was my officiant and she did amazing as well and gave us a beautiful ceremony and she too is very kind and great at what she does. She was a fantastic officiant and I would highly recommend her too! I just want to say thank

The Venue was a fantastic place for our event. When I walked in I appreciated the look of the history of the building blended with the modern. There is a stage where our guest sang and danced. We provided equipment for karaoke and was able to connect to the venues speaker system. Our event was a fancy dress birthday party. The bride and groom dressing areas are very large . There is a bar and refrigerator and freezers if needed. The owner is a gracious hostess and has done a wonderful job creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere at her venue.

We immediately chose The Venue as our wedding venue because of its breathtaking beauty and charm. Located in historic downtown Sedalia, The Venue is true to its historical architecture while adding a modern, industrial feel to the venue. Great location and perfect spots for pictures all throughout downtown Sedalia. A huge selling point for us were the bridal and groom suites. They are spacious and beautifully designed. The bridal suite has plenty of natural light and spots to get ready while the groom suite has plenty of entertainment (darts, pool, TV, etc). I also love that Michelle allows food

The Venue is incredible!!! Michelle & her husband, Mark, have created the most beautiful space. Michelle is not a typical venue owner, in my opinion. She is so on top of everything and she makes sure to be there at all times to ensure everything goes well. She is so flexible and easy to work with. All it took was a text to her if we wanted to change something or even just to come by and view the space several times throughout wedding planning. She checked in on us many times during the COVID-19 situation and kept us up-to-date on any changing/new regulations in their county.

We had my daughter’s wedding reception at The Venue. It is a beautiful place with lots of space. We didn’t have to do an extreme amount of decorating because the place is absolutely stunning. Sedalia is fortunate to have such an amazing place for events. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. It was a perfect day! We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
