We stand behind our reputation and will continue to serve our community with the values instilled by our funeral directors. Simple Cremation is all we do: When a funeral home has a large facility, a fleet of cars, and many staff members, every customer ends up paying part of these costs, even if they don't use the benefits.
We understand that there are many questions that arise when a death occurs. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer questions you may have and provide direction. Please call us directly at (276) 782-4488 if you require immediate assistance.

Cremation Society of Virginia serves the Central Piedmont, Northern, Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula, and Southwest regions of Virginia, as well as the cities of Richmond, Petersburg, Hopewell, Chester, Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, Colonial Heights, Northern Neck, Gloucester, and Charlottesville.
This section contains useful information about what to do when death occurs, cremation services and frequently asked questions. Family and friends getting together to honor a loved one's life is one of the most important steps in the grieving and healing process. You may opt to have a traditional religious or military service or, as more and more people are doing, you can choose to have a non-traditional 'life celebration'.
No matter if a death is sudden or if it something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. No amount of preparation can fully prepare you for the loss of a loved one. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering.
