Services
Dr. Todd Askew is a lifelong residence of Tuscaloosa who looks forward to caring for your pets. He attended Tuscaloosa County High School and graduated in 1993. After high school he achieved his undergraduate in forestry from Mississippi State University. He later graduated from the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.
Each individual procedure will vary from pet to pet and condition to condition. As with humans, the older the individual the more precaution needs to be taken. Typically a physical examination, review of the patients' medical history and blood work are recommended with older patients. These precautions will make a procedure as safe as possible with a senior pet.

Took both my furbabies today for their first visit with Ramey Vet. We needed to transfer to a vet closer to our home because one of my dogs does not travel well. Ramey Vet was highly recommended by several people. I am now one to highly recommend them. My appointment was at 9:30, for our 2 dogs and I was leaving at 9:55. The staff were so very nice. We made the right choice. Thanks Ramey Vet for loving on my Pitman & Molly

I just got my first puppy and decided to take her here and honestly, she gets so excited to see whoever comes to my car to get her. i always call them and ask a ton of questions and they’re always so patient with me and always help me and do what’s best for my Indie!! so glad she has such a good vet 💛

The best vet in the business!! So grateful I found Dr. Todd Askew after I moved to town over 13 years ago. He has taken care of every animal I've had since then including fosters and hurt animals I've found on the road. Cannot recommend him highly enough!!! And his office manager Jennifer I trust with each and every one of my fur kids. Elizabeth and Sam are great too!

They performed the spayed surgery on my lil baby holly. They did a very good job and the incision is very small considering shes had a few litters. Holly had sone swelling on the 3rd day which caused her a good amount of pain. When I called them we talked about what was going on with her and I sent pictures of her so we wouldn't have to move her. They got me the necessary meds to help her heal painlessly.
