William W. Reichart, Inc. has been family-owned and operated since 1890. For over a century, seven generations of the Reichart family has been engaged in locating, developing, supplying, purifying and monitoring ground water. J. Wesley Reichart, the founder of our company, drilled farm and residential wells with a steam driven wooden spudder rig throughout South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland through the turn of the century.
Additionally, we perform well inspections using downhole video cameras to evaluate wells for rehabilitation. We install a large variety of water end and motor configurations ranging from fractional-horsepower residential pumps to 200-horsepower industrial pumps and pumps for every application in between.
Bill Reichart is the president of our corporation and the leader of our team. He is a sixth-generation member of our family-business and capable of performing, engineering & discussing all work & services provided.

Reichart was one of seven well drilling firms nationwide to initially adopt the contractor-employee membership program introduced by the National Ground Water Association, giving our company 100% representation in the NGWA. Key personnel attend all meetings and conventions of the organization on an annual basis.
