We invite all AAPPM members who have been in practice for four years or more to consider applying for Fellowship status in the Academy. We have many distinguished Academy members who have fulfilled the following requirements to become AAPPM fellows. You can join their ranks and receive recognition from your peers as a practice management expert.
American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management (AAPPM) is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) as a provider of continuing education in Podiatric Medicine. This program has qualified for a maximum of 10.5 continuing education contact hours. No commercial interest provided financial support for this continuing education activity.
Whether you are currently running a practice or want to acquire the skills to become a practice leader, this program will expand your knowledge with detailed modules. The AAPPM has proudly partnered with the Practice Management Institute (PMI), the nation's leading and largest provider of non-clinical practice management education, to be the exclusive provider of this CMOM-POD certification program to the podiatric profession.
The purpose of residency is to obtain skills to practice medicine. Postgraduate training allows you to view and participate in medical decisions alongside many different doctors, allowing you to extrapolate information to shape your future clinical decisions. Part of this process is utilizing research and literature to identify evidence-based practice.
The AAPPM maintains a special relationship with its consultant partners. We are proud to stand behind them as some of the greatest minds in everything from marketing and legal services to hiring, billing, strategic analysis, capital management, and more. And they are united in their passion for, and commitment to, the future of podiatry.
