With the help of the Alden Historical Society it appears that our Agency was most likely founded sometime in 1875 by Frank Algers in his home located at 13134 Broadway (corner of Church and Broadway). In 1893 Frank was joined by Arthur G. Hart. Mr. Algers retired from the insurance industry in 1924 after 50 years of protecting western NY.
Driving east on Rte 20 we are located in the village of Alden at the corner of Broadway and Westcott. That's about 200 yards past the traffic light on your right. Look for our sign. Driving West on Broadway Rte 20 we are located just inside the village. Turn left on Westcott which is the third street on the left after John and Mary's restaurant.

I see tons of vehicles that don't even associate with the business parking in their lot but never get told to move. And this morning I saw some girl get passive aggressively plowed in to the parking lot getting stuck because of, what appeared to be very petty. That poor girl struggled to get unstuck, and almost failed to get out.
For a place who is meant to give people insurance for safety, that is the most childish and unprofessional thing I could see. There is a red car I see parking there daily that works at the ice-cream shop called pink cow, and they don't get told to move.
I am glad I opted
