A sign of a great company is when they do make a mistake, how they handle it. Long story, but basically the owner was looking over invoices and noticed that I purchased a couple of types of decking. He called and said he spoke with the managers about this purchase, and realized I didn't get what I needed on the first try. I purchased correctly on the second try. He refunded the total amount of first purchase - as he saw it as an error on his part! I never called him, he reached out to me! THAT'S customer service. I ALWAYS RECOMMEND THEM!

Top shelf lumber. Helpful, professional crew. No disrespect or sarcasm if i ask rookie questions. Always the best quality building materials.... In Stock! And no converting to metric system. 3/8" is not 11/32"s... No settling for knotty, pitch bleeding exterior sheeting, when i want 3/8's AC plywood. Just like when i want bacon ... Not ham?

Goodrich Lumber is one of the only real lumber yards remaining in the area. It's a great store with long-time, friendly and helpful employees. The quality of lumber is far better at Goodrich than you'll find at the big box, corporate hardware stores.
Goodrich Lumber also provides a much wider variety of wood species as well. I just picked up a 10 ft piece of 1x4 cherry which they had in stock. 1x cherry would be a special order at many other lumber yards on the So. Shore & Cape Cod.

I've been using Goodrich lumber for my projects for about 5 years. When I switched over from a different lumber co I wasn't sure what to expect. I've been very happy with the move to Goodrich, they treat their customers with care and have quality service and response time. Their team is always available when we need them even on short notice they can deliver. My sales rep is Bob H and he is awesome and very product knowledgeable. If you're in need of a quality place to get materials I highly recommend Goodrich lumber.
