Services
I am a Certified Empowerment Life Coach personally trained and certified by David Gershon and Gail Straub through participation in their Empowerment Institute Program facilitated in Rhinebeck, New York (www.empowermenttraining.com). In addition to being a Life Coach, I am a motivational speaker, workshop trainer, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) having completed my master's degree in Clinical Social Work at Boston College.
Transformational Life Coaching combines a mind/body/soul approach to help you see your life as a whole entity, not a combination of individual parts. This integrative approach is based on the understanding that when we change a part of any aspect of our experience, we simultaneously change the condition of the whole.
The less you expect, the less you judge, The less you cling to this or that experience as significant, the further you will progress. For what you're seeking is a transformation of your being far beyond that which any specific experience can give you. It is important to expect nothing, to take every experience, Including the negative ones as merely steps on the path, and to proceed.
As the plant springs from, and could not be without, the seed, so every act of person springs from the hidden seeds of thought, and could not have appeared without them. A person's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must and will bring forth.
The best way to find out if Coaching is for you and to see if we are a good fit is to sign up for a complimentary 15-20 minute client interview. It's an opportunity to see if we connect and if so we'll set up an ongoing coaching structure. This takes about five minutes, and you'll leave the call with action to take (homework).
