MicroLobal metal fibers are manufactured using a bundle-drawing process at our facility in Auburn, AL. IntraMicron produces Microlobal fibers 1-30 microns in diameter from a variety of standard and custom alloys.

Microfibrous Media is a nonwoven structure that may contain catalysts, sorbents, or other fillers to meet the needs of demanding applications including but not limited to contaminant removal, catalysis, vibration damping, electrodes, shielding, filtration, and many more.IntraMicron's Process Intensified Reactors enhance catalyst performance by minimizing heat and mass transport limitations.
IntraMicron manufactures MicroLobal metal fibers using a bundle-drawing process at our facility in Auburn, AL. All fibers are custom manufactured to your specifications ranging from our Standard Products, which we routinely manufacture and keep on hand, to specific Customized Products (see product capabilities chart to view all available options).
IntraMicron's core proprietary technology is non-woven microfibrous media containing high surface area catalysts and/or sorbents. This structure is the subject of numerous U.S. patents and international counterparts and offers significant benefits compared to other existing technology. The wet-lay process is utilized to form nonwoven media from fibers.
Process intensification is improving the efficiency of a process using means beyond traditional engineering. IntraMicron's Process Intensified Reactors embody the definition of process intensification. They enhance the performance of continuous processes by immobilizing a catalyst or sorbent in a complex network of metal microfiber.
SourCat Desulfurization Processes: IntraMicron designs, sells, leases, and licenses a series of customizable modular catalytic sulfur removal and recovery skids to address the scalable gas desulfurization needs of the oil and gas, synthesis gas, biogas, process gas, tail gas, and hydrogen fuel industries.
