The total equity payment is $100, but an investment of $20 will get you started! The money you pay into the store is still yours. If you decide you no longer wish to be a Co-op owner, just send over a written request for your refund. Do you use EBT or SNAP at the Co-op? If so, apply for membership through our Food for All program and get 10% off everything in the store every day!

Services
Our customers have access to a small parking area at our office location at the Historic Old Jail. You can also feel free to street park anywhere in our neighborhood when you stop by to shop! We always have parking available within a block, and the tree-lined sidewalks make the stroll to the Co-op perfect in a way only Athens can be!
A co-op is much more than your typical grocery store - it is a consumer-owned cooperative business that's managed and controlled by the people who use it. Unlike a business owned by an individual, family, or a corporation, profits from the store return to our owners and are used to help us better serve our community's needs.
Whether it's the local produce, the fantastic deli, the great sales, or the wonderful people - Daily is here to make Athens feel more like home. This year, we want to expand what we're capable of with the goals of better access, more community engagement, and more food for all! Rent the Historic Old Jail at 380 Meigs St! This will give us brand new office space and give all customers a nice parking lot and the perfect picnic spot!
Co+op Deals are rotating sales on refrigerated, frozen, and shelf-stable products as well as items from our body care and wellness departments. While not all items in these products are found on our store shelves, all shoppers can take advantage of Co+op Deals. Our team will apply coupons for all purchases of sale products, whether you order online or stop by to shop in-store!
The role of the Board is to establish a vision for the future of the Co-op and govern the cooperative towards these ends. At Daily, our Board governs via our By-Laws and our Policies. In addition to governance, the Board provides fiduciary and management oversight. Our Ends Policy (listed below) is used to guide our organization in every decision that we make.

By far the absolute rudest staff I have ever experienced before. They extremely insulting to someone trying to support a local store. I shared this with a few friends, some of which used to work there, and they said the same thing, they are extremely self righteous and disrespectful.
I would rather support a larger company than have to deal with being insulted again.
Definitely never going back again.

High prices and rude staff! No one bothered to say hello or ask if we needed any help at all. 3 employees in that tiny store too. Two of them wouldn't even make eye contact . So much for the equality b.s. in the window ! I took my money down the street where it's not required to be "WOKE " to shop there .

This food coop provides an essential service to Athens, GA -- socially-responsible healthy natural and local foods at reasonable prices for local residents. As a member/volunteer, you can get a discount. It also provides a social hub for those interested in promoting and learning about healthy foods. This tiny co-op has been an essential food store to neighborhoods not only within walking distance, but also in surrounding counties for well over 20 years. Daily Groceries Co-Op is most certainly a jewel in the crown of Athens-Clarke County, and one of the places you should get to know well if you

I used to go to this grocery store all the time when I lived in Athens. I came back for a visit and had to make a stop here. They had my beloved Luna bread, honey pops (@the honey pop people: when are y'all gonna hook me up with some of those strawberry basil ones 👀), and Athena Paradiso! CC seasonal beers have a tendency to be in short supply, but Daily came through for me with this one. Well curated, great staff, good prices.
They have a lot of local produce, which I love. So much food gets grown in Georgia; I feel dumb getting a sweet onion from across the country when they grow them just

This grocery store has a small scale, friendly neighborhood feel to it that I have never found anywhere else. Personally, I like to shop here because I want to support community stores. But on another level, Daily Groceries Coop is a one stop shop to find local organic produce as well as fair trade and renewable energy produced products. Overall, I have never been to a grocery store with such a plesant atmosphere that also has food that is undoubtedly healthy! Go give this place a try!
Oh, but one thing I feel like I should mention is that the Daily Groceries Coop is not very accessable, both
