Call to inquire about having a simple fireplace maintenance done. Only response I got was " we won't be able to get to any of that type of work till next month" obviously in a hurry to get on to more profitable work that was the feeling anyway. Went with a competitor of theirs and the job was done and exceeded our expectations only 3 days later

My wife and I walked in one morning and saw an older gentleman sitting behind a counter, talking to a young couple. They were both masked. He was not. While the couple continued looking at display model, he made no attempt to help us. A young woman walked in and saw that we were not being helped so tried to answer our questions. She was unable to so gave us brochures. She also was unmasked. My wife and I are recovering from covid so it is alarming to see local business owners who don't care about the health of their customers, especially at a time when local hospitals are maxed out with covid patients

We had an amazing experience with Marcell's. We previously contacted a competitor with a lack luster result. During a routine fireplace cleaning, we were told that our fireplace had to replaced with a more modern. We insisted that there was nothing wrong with the fireplace but he refused to listen to us and talked down to us. This is the exact opposite of our experience with Marcell's. Not real happy with the Heat and Glo unit we got. Extremely cold and has never been dealt with in the 12 years we have had it. Can't even use the unit because I have had to stuff it full of fiberglass insulation to help hold off the cold wind coming through it. I called again this year and didn't even get the courtesy of a return call. I have done everything to insure it is properly insulated and even drilled holes in the wall to insure the bump out was in fact insulated. I dug under the bump out and drilled holes to insure insulation was between the floor joists, yes I checked every possible angle

My pilot light went out due to this extremely cold weather. I had called and Gary said it would be a day or two before someone could get out.
I told him that would be great!! Within 20 minutes Gary was at my front door! He said he'd just swing by and see if he could quickly start it for me. I couldn't believe the quick response he gave me. I really appreciated it!! It was MUCH appreciated!!
