Established in 1957, the Rang Inn Thunderbird Motel is conveniently settled along highways 32, 57, and 151 in Chilton, Wisconsin. Located a short drive from several of Wisconsin's busiest cities, and some of the state's largest attractions- including EAA Air Venture, Road America, and Lambeau Field-Rang Inn Thunderbird Motel offers the convenience of a big city location, with the affordability of small town accommodations.

The area is an outdoor Men and Women's dream, offering hiking, biking, fishing, golf and more. Lake Winnebago is a popular destination for fishing and other recreation activities. Horrible experience.
Dirty sheets nothing was clean.
Worst customer service.
Said we had to clean our own room when we left. Paid for our stay and said we owed them more money when we tried to leave. Always shirtless when i went to the front desk.

Attempted to stay there on Sunday 10/1. When we checked in the heat wouldn't work. As a result we were moved to another room. The room was decent, but a short time later we discovered bugs in the bed (we have picture proof). When we approached the owner about the issue he took offense to it. We asked to be moved to a different room again, and he refused to cooperate (the hotel was not full). We then chose to leave. We handed in the key, and the owner still argued against the bugs. In addition my credit card was charged when I should have been refunded. Cooperation would have gone a long way, but

Rooms were not clean (stains, hair, etc). Price was low. Location was good. As a last resort I would go here but that's about it. (We bought pillows at the local Walmart, take that as you will.)

Staying long term cheaply, this is as good as it gets. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly, the rates are good AND it's pet friendly. More than pet friendly, the people here made me feel like my two cats were as safe while I was away as they were when I was in my room. It was pretty nice. The location is pretty convenient, not far from a laundry place, gas stations, a reasonably priced eatery or two, pharmacy and 24h supermarket - everything one could need for a long stay. Including an ice-cream place right across the parking lot. Dangerous stuff, that. For the short term stay, it's right on
