I've stayed in this campground for several years and always given them a 5 star rating. This year was very different. We stayed for a week and a day as this was my fall pilgrimage to trout fish in Bennett Springs.
Our downhill slide started upon arrival. We were met by the campground managers after calling their number posted on the door. They came over fairly quickly and we asked about sites as my son in law and I had reservations for the week. We were told that only two sites were available next to the restroom and showers. We asked about the newer sites by the lake that we had stayed

These people are so very kind!! My husband became very dehydrated and Jayme the amazing young woman at the desk drove me to Walmart for groceries and items to help my husband recover as we were a big rig and I couldn't drive it. They were able to accommodate us for 2 extra nights so he could recover and they even gave me a ride in their golf cart so I didn't have to carry my bags of ice (it's the little things). We were parked by the lake and it was lovely!! These people and this park remind us of the true American Spirit!! Thank you Jayme and staff at Rustic Trails RV Park lovely
