Services
Service is approximately 50% of our business and we treat it very seriously. We currently maintain some copper systems that were installed in the early fifties. As a result, the vast amount of products and brands we do not sell service policies- if you need service, call and we will schedule an appointment at your convenience.
Each residential installation is different. There is no "boiler plate" design for your sprinkler system. A representative from Fairview will personally visit the site, your home, determine the water pressure and volume, and measure the property to design the system. The installation involves tying-in to the water source, running a main line and dividing the property into zones, circuits, to make the best use of the water.
Each commercial installation- such as office buildings, schools, parks, cemeteries, and, churches are unique. We visit the site to verify the drawings and specs, meet the site supervisor and check the present conditions. We would work closely with the general contractor or architect, concerning scheduling, material drop-off, or any matter.
Every turn installations has it own set of circumstances. Whether it's a golf course or athletic field, Fairview has the experience and equipment to do the job correctly. We understand booster pumps, to raise the pressure to meet the needs of the big turf heads. We know water velocity, friction loss, and pipe sizing.
Little did I know my test run of our sprinkler system when we moved in would come back to bite me in the ass. I failed to shutoff my irrigation line before the first freeze, so the Fates saw it fit to send my water main in to a tizzy and pop off that little bell thing you have no idea why exists.
