Pancho Anaya first opened in 1912 in Sahuayo, Michoacan, Mexico. Its tradition of fine bread grew from generation to generation, becoming one of the largest bakeries in Michoacan. In 1998, Francisco "Pancho" Anaya founded Pancho Anaya Bakery in the U.S., with the vision not only to make pastries rich in ingredients and taste, but also to promote family values and unity, accompanied by its own delicious cafe de olla.
Our Pan Blanco is elaborated with the highest quality ingredients in the market by using the artisan techniques learned from our ancestors. Pancho Anaya's Bolillos and Teleras are perfect for tortas, sandwiches or to accompany your meal. Come in to any of our locations to see our full selection of Pan Blanco and other goodies.

Searched Google for ādessertsā and found this gem. HUGE selection and priced like a typical neighborhood grocer (instead of downtown touristy prices). Bought a slice of flan tradiciĆ³nal and a couple of individual tres leches (which could easily feed 2-3 people). So so so good. If I lived here, this would be my go-to spot. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back next time Iām in town!

It was ok. I got some churros, some empanadas, and some other pastries. The churros were not "crisped" at all... they were soggy and "flaccid" feeling. Same with the empanadas. The good thing is, the pastries are pretty cheap 79 cents... so I didn't feel like I got ripped off or anything, but its not a place I would really come back to, at least for pastries. Maybe their cakes are good.

I guess i have to go real early to get good bread. Im sorry but their sweet bread really isnt even that good.
The photos show the icicles in the their main entrance.
My Boyfriend called me while i was inside and told me to becarful.
He sounded upset, he didnt understand how no one could go and see if they can remove them. Someone could have gotten hurt if one melted enough and fell.

On entering Pancho Anaya Bakery, it was warm and inviting as I stepped out of the cold here on February 06, 2020. The smell was fantastic and the soft sounds inside were comforting. The pastries were at top of the delicious scale. The people who worked this night were hospitable and friendly. Very charming and cheerful. Way to go. So if you want nice pastries that are yummy you have hit the mother load. As we say on at Tuls Live... HWT YOU SOME PANCHO ANAYA BAKERY PASTERIES AND GOODS.
