George Brothers Funeral Service began serving this community in July of 2002. We have been involved in funeral service in the Greensboro community since 1987. In our communities, today's funeral service seems to have become big business rather than a ministry; however, we at George Brothers strongly feel your family's needs should come first.
We are truly committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those who call on us. Take a few moments to express your wishes now and help to ease the burden on your loved ones.

Services
In July of 2001, Jeff George and his brothers undertook a daunting task: that was to design a funeral home building that would meet the needs and goals of their clients and staff. To achieve this end, they contacted Interior Designer, Brenda Murphy, IFDA, in Metro Atlanta, Lilburn, Georgia. Mrs. Murphy had previously worked on Designer Show Houses as well as with Fortune 500 Companies planning Corporate Headquarters.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The Goods and Services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must purchase any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

Sadly, we have had the opportunity to work with these guys several times. They are the most compassionate, kind, genuine people I have ever known! They treat the loved one with care and respect as well as the family. This isn't JUST business with them, they truly care, from the heart! To say I highly recommend them falls short! If you have lost a loved one or if your planning your future, this is the place to go! As people and as a business, you won't find a betyer place, kinder folks and certainly not anywhere more comforting! This is a calling for them and they handle it with love, appreciation

George Brothers Funeral Service is fantastic. After my dad passed, they were so helpful with my mom and me. The heart of the staff is truly client-driven. When a loved one passes away, it's hard to know what to do; but the staff really went the extra mile in helping us navigate this difficult time. I'm so thankful we chose George Brothers. If you're in a position that you need their services, do yourself a favor and give them a call.

My mother passed away on June 17,2015. I was heartbroken but when I went to George Brothers and met with Scotty and Brian they made the process easier. They walked me though the preparing of my mother's wishes. No matter what I asked of them, they always found away to do it. All the employees there have the family comfort at heart. I can't say enough about George Brothers Funeral Service. I will recommend them to everyone I know. Many Thanks to them for making the hardest time in my family's life much easier.
