Swales Styleline Upholstery was established in 1917 by the late Raymond Swales and has remained a local family-owned business for over 92 years. Ralph and Robert Swales are the third generation to provide superior quality and hand-crafted furniture restoration to serve Central Pennsylvania. Our staff represents over 175 years of hands-on experience and is the oldest family-operated upholstery business in Pennsylvania.
Swales Styleline Upholstery offers complete upholstery service from door-to-door with no-hassle delivery. Custom restoration of your old or worn furniture is performed by our in-house expert craftsman. All furniture is stripped to the frame whereby the frame is thoroughly inspected to determine all necessary repairs needed to restore your furniture to last generations for your family to admire.
Antique restoration remains one of our most time honored and rewarding accomplishments. Our goal is to return your cherished antique to as near original as possible while maintaining its natural beauty and integrity. Depending on your wishes, our quality craftsmen have the ability to disassemble to a bare frame and return the piece to its original luster by reinforcing the joints and frame corners.
