Services
All deposits are due and payable within 10 days from the time when your reservation is made. Campground Registration Policy Each campsite is rented to 1 family which consists of 2 adults, your dependent children under the age of 21 staying in the same RV or tent. Refunds will be issued for cancelled reservations that are received at least 21 days prior to the date of arrival.

Beautiful view. No trees grass is well maintained. very very near an airport. Bath were clean. Showers are .25c for 10 min. Bring quarters. You have to take your dogs with you when you go out of the campground. We were not able to enjoy going out to dinner or boat tours, shopping, since dogs are not allowed.

What a wonderful campground. We were there 4 nights last week. We were in a premium site: 26. Unobstructed view of Montsweag Creek and marsh. Our site had a wooden shelter. Campfires every night. We put the kayaks in twice during our stay and paddled out to the Back River and Oak Island, Chewonki Creek. Fantastic. Pam and Ann are wonderful hosts and the campground is meticulously maintained, with lots of planting and sitting areas. Only a few miles from some great dining options in Wiscasset and Damariscotta. We will be back.

AMAZING 5/5 WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE STAY AT CHEWONKI CAMPGROUND!! I was greeted with amazing hospitality right when I called on the phone and when I showed up to check in. We stayed on site 11 which had a short walk to the dock, and had amazing views of the sunset and stars at night. It is clean with incredible views. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

This is our absolute favorite campground and we have been to many. It has breath taking views and kept up very nice. The bathrooms and saltwater pool is very clean. The owners are a sweet family who are hard workers and absolute sweethearts and we enjoy seeing them every year. Its just a nice quaint and relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for a stress free vacation.

We stayed several nites last week and have to say this is one of the most beautiful, well maintained private campgrounds we have stayed at in our travels across the US and Canada. The owner was very welcoming when we entered the campground and were lead to our site. This is the type of welcome we do not see very often. Modern full hookups, beautiful pool, great kayaking, clean facilities. We were in a 30’ travel trailer and will return.

Beautiful place. The owners are super nice, and the views are amazing. They are taking proper precautions for covid, like limiting the number of people at the pool, masked check in, etc. It's a little pricey compared to other places we've stayed, but the views make it worth it. Would definitely come again.
