In general, finding a trustworthy mechanic is a stress inducing experience. Anyone hopping onto a motorcycle with little to no mechanical experience themselves, is in for double the stress inducing treat. So when my clutch started to fail, I was not looking forward to the impending search.

Star Cycle does outstanding work. I take all my bikes to them including my Harley. No way I would let anyone else work on them. They are a true asset to the motorcycle riding community here in the Piedmont Triad!

I bought a Yamaha Grizzly used a few years ago. It ran OK but was very "cold blooded". I had two different Yamaha dealers check it out completely and service it. One dealership rebuilt the carb. One dealership didn't even grease the grease fittings. The machine still ran the same.
Derek at Star Cycle went through the machine and did several things including setting the valves and rebuilding the carb. He found that the dealership put in the wrong size parts in the carb.
Now the machine runs better than it ever did, and it starts and runs very well even when extremely cold.

Took my 1998 300 4X4 into Star Cycle. Easy to crank with kick start but wouldn't run steadily and backfired. Derek worked me in. Rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the choke housing when he discovered it was broken, replaced the fuel line and added a visible gas filter. He addressed several other issues that would've been problematic had they been ignored. Replaced the battery and installed two rear tires. He took photos and saved all of the parts. The ATV runs like a sewing machine now. Derek kept me informed of his progress and what he was encountering while insuring I had a dependable and safe

I have had multiple 4 wheelers before but never had anyone who could work on them. This time I decided to go local and I'm SO glad i did.
